These Terms & Conditions apply when you use kitchenwarehouse.asia and when you buy from Kitchen Warehouse Company, a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd ("we", "us" or "our"). By browsing or using this site, or by placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them before you order.

Who you are buying from

Kitchen Warehouse Company is a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd. We sell online only. We do not have a physical shop or showroom, and our administration address is not a returns address. Our contact details are at the bottom of this page.

Using this website

We give you a limited, personal permission to use this site to shop with us. You cannot transfer that permission to anyone else, and we can withdraw it. It does not cover commercial use, or use on behalf of another person or business, unless we have agreed to that in writing first. If you break these terms, the permission ends straight away.

When you use this site, you agree that you will not:

• Use it in any way that breaks the law.
• Upload or send anything that contains viruses or other harmful code.
• Post or send anything that is defamatory, threatening, obscene, discriminatory, or that could lead to a civil claim or a criminal charge.
• Post or send anything that breaks someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
• Try to get into our systems without permission, or interfere with how the site works or how secure it is.
• Copy, reproduce, sell, change, reverse-engineer or otherwise exploit the site or any part of it without our written permission.

By using this site you confirm that you are 18 or older. If you are under 18, please use this site only with a parent or legal guardian.

Our content

Everything on this site, including our name, text, images, photographs, illustrations, designs, icons and videos, belongs to us or to the people who license it to us. It is here for your personal, non-commercial use while you shop.

Products & descriptions

We take care to describe our products accurately, including sizes, materials and what is in the box. Product photos are for illustration, and slight differences in colour and finish can occur. Where a supplier publishes no figure for a measurement or a safety standard, our product page says so rather than inventing one.

Prices & discounts

All prices are in Singapore dollars. The total shown at checkout, made up of the item prices and any delivery charge, is what we charge you.

We work to keep prices correct. If we find an error in the price of an order you have placed, we will contact you before we dispatch it and ask whether you want to go ahead at the correct price.

Discount codes take money off the goods only, never off delivery. For example, the valued-customer code gives 15% off the items in your cart. Free delivery is based on your goods total after any discount.

Ordering

• Your order is an offer. Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is made when we dispatch your order.
• Processing. Once your payment has cleared, orders are usually handled within 24 to 48 hours.
• Your details. Please give us a correct delivery address, email address and phone number. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by wrong details.
• Orders we cannot accept. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example when an item is unavailable, when we suspect fraud, or when we believe the order breaks the law or harms our business. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund you in full.

Cancelling an order

You can cancel an order until it has shipped. Please contact us within 12 hours of ordering, because orders are handled within 24 to 48 hours. Cancelling costs you nothing. Once packing and shipping has started, the order can no longer be cancelled and our returns policy applies instead. The full detail is on our Refunds & Returns page.

Payment & security

You pay in full at checkout, by card through Stripe Checkout or by PayPal. Your card details go straight to Stripe or PayPal. We never receive or store them. We process your order once the payment is authorised.

Email is the best way to reach us, and you can write at any time. We do our very best to reply to support emails within 24 hours.

Your consumer rights

Under Singapore's Sale of Goods Act 1979, what we sell you has to be of satisfactory quality, reasonably fit for the purpose it is sold for, and as we described it. On top of that, the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003 gives you specific remedies when goods do not conform to the contract at delivery, often called the lemon law:

• If a fault appears within six months of delivery, the law presumes the goods did not conform when they were delivered, unless we can show otherwise or that would be unreasonable given the nature of the goods.
• You can first ask us to repair or replace the goods.
• If repair or replacement is impossible or disproportionate, or we do not do it within a reasonable time, you can ask for a price reduction or a refund.

Singapore has no general statutory cooling-off period for an ordinary online purchase; the 15 day return window on our Refunds & Returns page is our own voluntary policy, offered on top of these rights, not instead of them. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory right that cannot be given up. If anything here conflicts with such a right, the right wins.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

• Our total liability arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for the goods in that order.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, data or opportunity.
• We provide the website "as is". We do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. More detail is on our Limited Liability Indemnity page, which also forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore can hear disputes about them. If we cannot resolve a problem together, you can also approach the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) or bring a claim in the Small Claims Tribunals, which handle consumer claims up to their published limit.

Changes to these terms

We may change this site and these terms at any time. The version on this page when you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
